Intercom

Intercom is a customer messaging platform offering live chat, email, bots, and in-app messages for support, sales, and marketing teams to engage users and improve customer experiences.

Churned integrates with Intercom to sync user profiles, events, and conversations, enabling better churn prediction and personalized engagement.

How to connect Intercom to Churned

Log in to the Churned platform and go to the “Integrations” section. Click on “New Integration” and select Intercom from the list.

Required Credentials

  • accessToken – Your Intercom Personal Access Token used to authenticate API requests.

Generate an Access Token

  1. Log in to your Intercom account.

  2. Navigate to: Settings > Developers > Your Apps.

  3. Create a new app or select an existing one.

  4. Go to the “Authentication” section and generate a Personal Access Token.

  5. Ensure the token has scopes like read:users, read:conversations, etc., depending on your use case.

  6. Copy the access token and store it securely.

Input the Credential Enter the retrieved credential into the Churned integration form:

  • Access Token: Your Intercom Personal Access Token.
