Zendesk

Zendesk is a customer service platform for managing support tickets and customer interactions. It offers tools for ticketing, chat, and call center management.

Churned seamlessly integrates with Zendesk as a destination connection. If you already use Zendesk, we highly recommend connecting to it, as it is the fastest way to experience the full value Churned has to offer. This integration ensures real-time data synchronization and enhances your ability to engage with customers effectively.

How to connect Zendesk to Churned.io

Login to Churned platform and go to integration part. Click on "New Integration" and add Zendesk.

After adding Zendesk, you will need some more information as in this image.

Here’s how you can obtain each of these credentials:

1. Email

This is the email address associated with your Zendesk account. You should use the email address that you use to log in to Zendesk.

2. Subdomain

The subdomain is part of your Zendesk URL. For example, if your Zendesk URL is https://yourcompany.zendesk.com, then yourcompany is your subdomain.

3. Token

To generate an API token in Zendesk, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to Zendesk:

    • Go to your Zendesk account and log in with your credentials.

  2. Navigate to Admin Settings:

    • Click on the cog icon (Admin) in the sidebar.

  3. Go to API Settings:

    • In the Admin settings, select "Channels" and then "API".

  4. Enable Token Access:

    • Ensure that "Token Access" is enabled. If it is not enabled, toggle the switch to enable it.

  5. Create a New API Token:

    • Click on the "Add API Token" button.

    • Provide a label for the token (e.g., "Integration with Churned").

    • Click "Create Token".

  6. Copy the Token:

    • Once the token is generated, copy it. Make sure to store it securely as it will not be displayed again.

After obtaining the email, subdomain, and token, enter them into the integration setup form in Churned platform as shown in the screenshot.

  1. Email: Your Zendesk account email.
