# Snowflake

**How to connect Snowflake to Churned.io**\
Log in to the Churned platform and go to the “Integrations” section. Click on “New Integration” and select Snowflake from the list.

You will be prompted to enter the following credentials:

**Required Credentials**

* **account** – Your Snowflake account identifier (e.g., `xy12345.eu-west-1`).
* **user** – The Snowflake user with data access permissions.
* **password** – The password for the Snowflake user.
* **warehouse** – The Snowflake virtual warehouse to use.
* **database** – The database where your customer data is stored.
* **schema** – The schema containing the tables you want to query.

**Here’s how you can obtain these credentials:**

1. Log in to your Snowflake account.
2. Get your **account** ID from the URL or Admin area.
3. Use an existing **user** or create one with read access.
4. Make sure you know the **warehouse**, **database**, and **schema** names used for customer data.

**Input the Credentials**\
Paste the Snowflake credentials into the Churned integration form.

Click **Save** to test the connection. Once it’s working, notify the Churned team to begin syncing data.

**Important note: Churned requires engine-based access to Snowflake.** MFA for service users is not supported. If your organization enforces MFA, we can instead support key-pair authentication using SNOWFLAKE\_JWT. Otherwise, the standard credentials listed above (account, user, password, warehouse, database, schema) are sufficient to set up the connection.
