# Mssql

Churned integrates with MSSQL to access customer data directly from your database, enabling real-time analysis and engagement tracking.

How to connect MSSQL to Churned.io\
Log in to the Churned platform and go to the “Integrations” section. Click on “New Integration” and select MSSQL from the list.

You will be prompted to enter the following credentials:

Required Credentials

1. host – The hostname or IP address of your MSSQL server.
2. port – The port used by the MSSQL service (default: 1433).
3. username – The username for accessing the MSSQL database.
4. password – The password for the provided username.
5. database – The name of the MSSQL database you want to connect to.

Here’s how you can obtain these credentials:

host and port

* Ask your IT or database admin for the hostname or IP where MSSQL is hosted.
* The default MSSQL port is 1433, unless configured otherwise.

username & password

* These credentials should be created in your SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) or requested from your database administrator.
* Make sure the user has read access to the tables you want to sync with Churned.

database

* Use the name of the specific database in MSSQL that contains your customer data.

Input the Credentials\
Enter the retrieved credentials into the Churned integration form:

* host: MSSQL server address.
* port: Usually 1433 unless changed.
* username: SQL user with appropriate access.
* password: Password for the SQL user.
* database: Name of your customer data databas

Click Save and test the connection to ensure everything is working correctly.

Once connected, notify the Churned team to synchronize data.
