# Braze

Braze is a customer engagement platform for creating cross-channel campaigns and journeys.

Churned integrates with Braze as a destination for customer attributes, events, and messaging actions. This lets you use Churned’s predictions and Co-pilot decisions in your Braze campaigns and Canvases.

### How to connect Braze to Churned

1. Log in to Churned and go to **Integrations**.
2. Click **New Integration** and select **Braze**.
3. Enter your **API Key** and **REST Endpoint**.

#### Required credentials

* **API Key:** A Braze *REST API key* with the permissions listed below.
* **REST Endpoint:** The endpoint for your Braze instance, such as `https://rest.fra-01.braze.eu`.

#### How to find your API key and REST endpoint

1. In Braze, go to **Settings → APIs and Identifiers → API Keys**.
2. Select **Create API Key** and give the key a recognizable name, such as “Churned integration”.
3. Enable these permissions:
   * `users.track` — update customer attributes and record events.
   * `users.export.ids` — look up customer profiles by identifier.
   * `campaigns.trigger.send` — trigger Braze campaigns.
   * `canvas.trigger.send` — trigger Braze Canvases.
4. Create the key and copy it into the **API Key** field in Churned.
5. Copy the **REST Endpoint** shown in Braze and paste it into the corresponding field in Churned. Use the REST endpoint for the same Braze workspace as your API key.

Keep your REST API key private. A Braze SDK key will not work for this connection.

#### Final steps

1. Click **Save** in Churned.
2. Check that the integration shows as **Activated**.
3. Coordinate with the Churned team to confirm the customer identifier and set up the attributes, events, or messaging actions you want to use.
